Alteration in milk fat content and improvement in the productivity of beef cattle has been demonstrated by adding the enzymes beta-glucanase and xylanase to animal feed. Additionally, by including these enzymes to the total mixed feed ration or to silage – such as corn or alfalfa – improved animal health has been demonstrated, especially in young animals.
Dyadic’s fibrolytic enzymes are resistant to proteolysis by ruminal microflora, which is a bottleneck for other competing products. Additionally, Dyadic’s concentrates upgrade the nutritional value of silage when added to raw materials, especially when fermentable sugars are in short supply.
These enzymes originating from our C1 microorganism based on preliminary experiments show an excellent cost/benefit ratio when compared to present commercial enzymes.
