FIBREZYME™ LDI is an enzyme complex selectively modifies cellulosic fibers to aid in the separation of ink and other debris from recycled papers. FIBREZYME™ LDI is a stable liquid formulation designed to function across a broad range of pH (6.0 - 8.0) and temperature 25^oC - 60^oC (77^oF - 140^oF).

FIBREZYME™ LDI can be used to attain some or all of the following depending upon the mill needs and conditions:

1. Enhances de-inking of recycled fibers. FIBREZYME™ LDI releases inks (impact and non-impact) from fiber surfaces while increasing pulp drainage rates. The combined action facilitates separation of ink particles from fibers and enhances steps that involve separation of fiber and water. Washing and flotation process becomes more effective.
2. Enhances the drainage rates of recycled fibers by a selective hydrolysis of fine particles.
3. Enhances and/or restores fiber strength, reduces refining energy requirements, and increases inter-fiber bonding through fibrillation while increasing drainage rates.
4. Decreases chemicals needed for deinking and cleaning recycled pulps enhancing the deinking process.
