Dyadic has developed an integrated technology platform to rapidly discover and express genes of both eukaryotic and prokaryotic origin, then efficiently and inexpensively manufacturing the products of those genes. This platform technology utilizes Dyadic’s proprietary fungal host, Chrysosporium lucknowense, or C1, for all phases of this process.

Dyadic’s Gene Discovery and High-Throughput Screening systems use state-of-the-art robotics to produce gene expression libraries and to screen those libraries for functional expression. Once genes are identified by expression, they are readily isolated from the libraries. Isolated genes are then re-cloned into the Dyadic "C1 Express" Hyperproducing Gene Expression System, enabling high level production of the expressed genes’ products. By utilizing a single organism for all phases, the probability of success is greatly increased. This results in significantly reduced development costs as well as shorter development timelines.
